    4:00 PM - Program Conclusion

  • Attendees gather at the West Steps of the California State Capitol, 1315 10th St, Sacramento, CA 95814 to check in and join the march together. This central location makes it easy to meet your group, connect with campus contingents, and start the rally on time.

  • Plan your trip to Sacramento early. Many campus groups arrange buses and carpools to the Capitol. Public transit and ride-share are good options since parking near the Capitol can be limited. If you drive, arrive early to secure street or garage parking around the Capitol area.

  • The march is peaceful and open to all. Organizers encourage you to stay aware of your surroundings, travel with your group, know where first-aid and water stations are, and follow event staff guidance on crowd movement. If you need accessibility support, check in with event volunteers on site for assistance.

  • Bring essentials for comfort and advocacy: water, snacks, sunscreen, a charged phone, signs that reflect your message, a hat, and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather and carry layers; Sacramento can be cool in the morning and warm by midday.
